This is part 3 of 13 in the series How to prosper in tough times

Prosperity is the result of honoring and respecting God’s Word, giving it first place in our llives.

Ps 112:1 Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments.

2 His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.  3 Wealth and riches will be in his house, NKJV

Living a life of moral purity causes a person to prosper regardless of circumstances around us.

Ps 1:1 Oh, the joys of those who do not

follow the advice of the wicked,

or stand around with sinners,

or join in with mockers.

2 But they delight in the law of the Lord,

meditating on it day and night.

3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank,

bearing fruit each season.

Their leaves never wither,

and they prosper in all they do.

4 But not the wicked!

They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.

5 They will be condemned at the time of judgment.

Sinners will have no place among the godly.

6 For the Lord watches over the path of the godly,

but the path of the wicked leads to destruction .NLT

Our prosperity is based upon God’s integrity, which are His Word and Character.

Num 23:19 God is not a man, so he does not lie.

He is not human, so he does not change his mind.

Has he ever spoken and failed to act?

Has he ever promised and not carried it through?   NLT

Isa 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.” NKJV

He is always with us regardless of circumstances.

Josh 1:5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, NKJV

He is constantly observing his promises.

Jer 1:12 I’ll make every word I give you come true.” Msg

Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. KJV

The Lord only operates on a faith bases, because His word is the bases for real faith.

Rom 10: 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Rom 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. NKJV

Heb 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. NKJV

God’s Word only works by love.

Gal 5:6 but faith which worketh by love. KJV

1 Cor 13:8  Love never fails. NKJV

The Lord is loving and giving.

1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. 8 But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

9 God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. 10 This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.11 Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. 12 No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.  NLT

He always gives His very best.

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. NKJV

Rom 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? NKJV

There are over 3000 promises in the Word of God for God’s people. As we appropriate them we begin to partake of His divine nature.

2 Peter 1:3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature,  NKJV

We were originally created in God’s image, created to be kings and reign in power in the earth. However, Satan stole our dominion by deception and sent us into poverty and darkness. The good news is the Jesus has restored us to kingdom power and authority and we reign with Him as Kings and Priests.

1 John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. NKJV

Rev 1:5 To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.  NKJV

Jesus paid the price of our redemption by identifying with our need. In like manner let us also identify with the needs of others and by the law of sowing will come back to us 30-60-100 fold.

2 Cor 8:1 Now I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, what God in his kindness has done through the churches in Macedonia. 2 They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity. 3 For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more. And they did it of their own free will. 4 They begged us again and again for the privilege of sharing in the gift for the believers in Jerusalem. 5 They even did more than we had hoped, for their first action was to give themselves to the Lord and to us, just as God wanted them to do. 6 So we have urged Titus, who encouraged your giving in the first place, to return to you and encourage you to finish this ministry of giving. 7 Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us—I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving. 8 I am not commanding you to do this. But I am testing how genuine your love is by comparing it with the eagerness of the other churches. 9 You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich. NLT
